Set, Reserve a Room ... MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION
1. There is a web page for our class that will have reunion information, a list of who will be attending, a list of our lost lambs, a bulletin board, a classmates’ classified ad page and more. Make sure you log on and check it out. The class web site is using Susan (Sawtelle) Herron’s personal web site so it doesn’t have a URL that has anything to do with our class. You can access it by:

2. The evening cruise was something we couldn’t book ahead of time so if you are interested in doing that rather than meeting at Rusty’s on Friday night, you can contact:

o On Friday, Sept 5 they will be offering a live jazz cruise from 5:30-7:30. The cost is $40 per adult for the public cruise.

Thinking that classmates might like to visit with other classmates during our reunion weekend, we have booked blocks of rooms for Friday and Saturday, September 5 & 6 at two hotels.
SAN MARCOS CLASS OF 1963 REUNION

They require a two night stay. To get the guaranteed rate, reservations must be made by July 7.

Parking is $7/night with in and out privileges and there is street parking available at no charge.

We did not reserve rooms there because of the nonrefundable deposit and a 60 day cancellation policy for groups. Rates are reasonable and it is fun and funky.
Note: Each person making a reservation is responsible for canceling a reservation to avoid charges.

All the reunion attendees need to do is go to: www.crookstravel.com to open our web page which is also a search engine. Now for Hotel reservations….just scroll down on my site until you get to Hotels.com….click on that and it throws you into a search engine for hotels. Answer question #1 City: Santa Barbara, CA Question #2: Dates: Sept. 5 – 7, 2008, then click on GO for advanced options. Each of the following are 3 star hotels: Montecito Inn (Approx. $245/night) in Montecito and has a great restaurant; Santa Barbara Inn on East beach (see below); Hotel Santa Barbara ($250 range) lower State St. by RR tracks renovated and pretty cool; Encina Lodge by Cottage Hospital and Oak Park area (mid $200’s) If you also need a flight and rental car… be sure to check my sight for package deals.
